Salute to our U.S. and Canadian Military Families!

Daughters of U.S. Military and Canadian Forces, age 13 – 18, have been invited to sail aboard Tall Ship Unicorn with Sisters Under Sail as we sail the Great Lakes in 2013. Sailing as the only all-female crewed tall ship in the world, Sisters Under Sail is dedicated to teaching teen girls leadership skills and life lessons through sail training. To honor their service and sacrifice, Sisters will award several scholarships to teens whose parent(s) is a Fallen Warrior or Active Duty, Active Status in the Military, including the National Guard, Reservists and Coast Guard.

  Summer 2012 Sisters Under Sail will sail New England and Nova Scotia from New York Harbor to Boston to Halifax. Jump aboard as we participate in Tall Ship Festivals in Newport, Halifax, Lunenburg and Yarmouth. Dock with us at West Point Military Academy, Perth Amboy, New London and Mystic Seaport. Anchor off Cape Cod and Block Island where you’ll be escorted into town to souvenir shop and scout out the nearest ice cream parlor. Shorter distances between ports allows for lots of sailing, gunk-hole anchoring and swimming. More than 450 other teenage girls just like you from all over the United States and Canada decided to climb aboard over the past seven sold out summers. The 2012 season offers 8 programs. Space is limited to only six girls per passage and we fill up quickly.
